New Year, New Warehouse

As 2011 draws closer and closer to an end, Dalepak is very excited and pleased to announce that due to the Company’s continued growth, in 2012 we will be expanding into a brand new, state of the art warehouse.

The warehouse is located on the prestigious Pineham Industrial Estate, in Northampton, close to Junction 15A of the M1.

This is a major step forward for the company. For many years Dalepak have had first class people and technology to compete with the biggest logistics companies in our industry and taking on Pineham gives the facilities and image to take the Company to the next level.

Taking on this new headquarters means that Dalepak will occupy 340,000 sq ft in their home town of Northampton. Prologis also recognised Dalepak's part in the town by saying, “We are delighted that Prologis Park Pineham is now fully let, particularly as DC139 has been taken by a local company,” said Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK. 

The building has many fantastic features, including:

• Pallet capacity of 22,000 spaces
• 12 dock level doors
• 12.5m tall eaves
• Environmentally friendly
• Rainwater harvesting
• Solar shading
• PIR control for office and warehouse lights
• 15% sky lights to allow natural light into the building
